Do you have WiFi?

Of course! Our WiFi is super-fast, and available all over the house and free of charge.

 

Is there an age restriction?

Guests under 18 years old are not allowed to sleep in our shared dorms. When booking a private room, you have to be accompanied by minimum one legal guardian over 18 years old – please contact us before you make your reservation.

 

How do I cancel or change my booking?

If you choose a non-flexible reservation, it cannot be refunded once it is made. Therefore, we recommend that you choose a flexible reservation, which allows you to cancel your reservation free of charge, right up until 11.59PM two days before your arrival. If you wish to cancel your flexible reservation made via our website, please make the change on Next House Copenhagen's website. You are also welcome to contact us, but a fee of DKK 100,- per change will be charged.

Do you have price guarantee?

Yes, of course we do! When you book directly on our website, we guarantee that you will be getting it at the best online price.

 

Do you offer corporate agreements?

Next House Copenhagen is part of the Arp-Hansen Hotel Group. As a company, you can get a corporate agreement for all of our 12 hotels including our two hotels Steel House Copenhagen and Next House Copenhagen. With a corporate agreement, you will get a direct booking link. When you click the link, you are automatically logged in to our website, where you can easily book your rooms with your discounted company rates. If you would like to hear more about our company agreements please contact our Sales Department by email: sales@arp-hansen.dk or by telephone: +45 4597 0500.

 

How do I check in?

In order to make the check in process as smooth and fast as possible, we have self-service check in counters for your convenience. Make sure to fill out the registration form you get with your booking confirmation to make the check in process as fast as possible.

If all of this sounds too tricky or somethings goes wrong, just ask a member of the staff and we will be happy to help you.

 

When can I check in?

You can check in from 3PM.

Unfortunately it is not possible to check in before 3PM. If you arrive early, you can rent a locker for your luggage from DKK 20,- for 3 hours. Please note that we only accept credit card payment for the lockers.

You can also check in late if you arrive later in the day / evening. The staff is present 24/7 if you need assistance.

 

Are there female dorms?

Yes. We have dorms that can be booked by everyone, and we have dorms that are reserved for women only. Simply select "Mixed" or "For Women" when you make your reservation.

 

Are there male dorms?

Yes of course, just ask us.

 

How far is it to the city centre?

Next House Copenhagen is part of the city center with only 500 meters to the Copenhagen Central Station and 950 meters to the City Hall Square.

 

What attractions should I see in Copenhagen?

It all depends who you are, and luckily there is something for everyone. At Next House Copenhagen, you are within walking distance from many of the city's most popular attractions: Tycho Brahe Planetarium, Bremen Teater, Istedgade, Det Ny Teater, Wallmans Circus Building, Nordisk Film cinemas (Imperial and Palads), Tivoli's Concert Hall, Tivoli Gardens, The City Hall Square, the Meatpacking District (Kødbyen), Hard Rock Café and much more. Other popular destinations include Langelinie with The Little Mermaid and then there is the Round Tower at Købmagergade, Amalienborg Palace, Strøget, Copenhagen Opera House, Copenhagen Zoo, the Royal Danish Theatre and Nyhavn. Copenhagen offers endless opportunities for sightseeing, and if you like guided tours, you should try a canal tour and the ever popular Hop on/Hop off buses.

When do I have to check out?

You must check out no later than 11AM.

Please ask at our reception if you would like to check out later. We can not guarantee that it's possible, but promise to do our best to help. In case of late check out, you must check out no later than 1PM.

Our prices for late check-out are: DKK 100,- per bed in a shared bedroom and DKK 200,- for a private room. If it is not possible for us to let you check out late, you can rent a locker in the basement for your luggage from DKK 20,- for 3 hours. Please note that we only accept credit card payment for the lockers.

 

Do you provide bed linen and towel?

Yes. Bed linen and towel is included in the price. If you stay with us for more than 4 days, we will provide you with fresh bed linen and towel. You can also choose to get a fresh towel for DKK 25,- and have your bed made with fresh linen for DKK 50,- at any time - just let us know.

 

Is there access to laundry?

Yes. We have self-service laundry with washing machine and dryer for DKK 20,- each.

 

Is there fitness at Next House Copenhagen?

Of course! We have machines for strength training and cardio. Our gym is open from 6AM to 10PM every day. Exercise for 2 hours for only DKK 20,- per person.

There is also Next Arena, which is an indoor stadium of 10x20 meters. We have created the ultimate gathering place for everyone who likes to have fun, play sports, wild competitions and get a good sweat with lots of cheers.

 

Is smoking allowed at Next House Copenhagen?

No! Next House Copenhagen is 100% smoke-free. There is a DKK 1000,- smoking fee so please go outside to the street if you want to smoke.

 

Is there a bar?

If we have a bar? Yes, we have four different bars spread out on our common areas at Next House Copenhagen. Here you can enjoy everything from proper meals, freshly brewed coffee, special beers, cold drinks and much more.

 

Do you have handicap accessible rooms?

Of course; if you wish to book a handicap accessible room, please contact us.

 

Can I rent a bike?

Yes, you can rent a bike with us for DKK 125,- for the entire day until midnight.

 

How do I get to Next House Copenhagen?

Kitchen access

Our self-service kitchen is reserved for individuals and families and may not be used by groups. You can find our self-service kitchen on the 6th floor, where you can store your own food in the kitchen's refrigerators. Open for free use 6AM to midnight. For further questions regarding the communal kitchen, please contact the reception.

 

Can I get breakfast and dinner?

Of course you can! For breakfast, we offer a breakfast buffet for only DKK 49,- per person. When you get hungry in the evening, you can dive into our pizza and salad buffet for just DKK 99,- per person / DKK 69,- for children.

You can also order food and drinks in our café and bars all day.

 

Which payment cards are accepted?

VISA, MasterCard, JCB, American Express and Dankort are accepted.

 

Will I be able to stay in the same room as my friends?

If you are booking beds in a dorm for more than one person, we can’t guarantee that you’ll be placed in the same room. If you want to be sure to stay in the same room, please book a private room.

 

Do you provide lockers?

Yes. We provide lockers from DKK 20,- for 3 hours to store your luggage. Please keep in mind that we only take credit card payment for the lockers.

In the dorms, each guest has their own locker. We highly recommend that you keep all of your belongings locked up. Next House Copenhagen is not responsible for any loss of valuables. You can use your own padlock to lock it. If you don’t have a padlock, you can buy one at the front desk.

 

Can friends and family visit me at Next House Copenhagen?

Friends & family of guests staying at Next House Copenhagen are welcome in the bar and public areas, but not allowed to go to the dorms/rooms, gym, cinema & self-service kitchen.

 

Are pets allowed at Next House Copenhagen?

Pets are not allowed except guide dogs. In that case, a private room must be booked.

 

Do you provide hairdryers?

Yes. All of our rooms and dorms have a hairdryer.

 

Does every room have a private bathroom?

Yes. All our rooms and dorms have a private bathroom. In our dorms, the bath and toilet is separated so you can use the toilet while someone is using the shower and vice versa.

 

Do you provide soap and shampoo?

All bathrooms have a soap and shampoo dispenser.

 

Can I bring my own food and beverages?

You are welcome to bring your own food and enjoy it in the designated areas, but not in the rooms/dorms. Furthermore, you are not allowed to consume your own alcoholic beverages anywhere in the house so please get your drinks from the bar – we risk losing our alcohol license so please respect that.

 

Can my friends who doesn't live at Next House Copenhagen visit the roof terrace?

Of course! Our rooftop is a green breathing space available for own guests and visitors from outside.

 

Do you have baby cots or extra beds?

Unfortunately, we don't.

 

Do you provide laundry facilities?

Yes, we have a self-service laundry room with both washing machines and dryers for DKK 20,- each.
